McGee has been married to actor Marcello Thedford for 16 years after they met on the movie "Daylight" starring Sylvester Stallone, according to People. The actress was in her late 20s when she joined "Boy Meets World" in Season 5 and is 10 years older than Rider Strong, who played her love interest.
"It was really surreal playing a high schooler, college freshman, and I really would go home to three kids," she said on "Good Morning America" in 2022.

McGee also revealed on TikTok in 2022 that she was secretly pregnant at one point during the series' run, zooming in on her baby bump in a 1998 episode.
"That time I played a teenager but in reality I was 6 months pregnant," she wrote.
According to the Mayo Clinic, there is a higher risk of complications that could lead to a C-section delivery in pregnancies after age 35, and "babies born to older mothers have a higher risk of certain chromosomal conditions, such as Down syndrome." The risk of pregnancy loss also increases with age.

Da Brat, Hilary Swank welcomed children in their 40s
McGee is the latest star to become pregnant later in life. Last year, Da Brat welcomed her first child with wife Jesseca "Judy" Harris-Dupart at the age of 49.
"I can't BELIEVE he came out of me!" she told People. "Feels like a dream. He's PERFECT in every way."
Also in 2023, Hilary Swank was 48 when she gave birth to twins. "It wasn’t easy," she said on Instagram. "But boy (and girl!) was it worth it."
